High Temperature Glass-Filled Nylon Wheels
National Caster Corporation distributes high temp glass-filled nylon wheels.
Glass-filled nylon caster wheels are ideal for locations where a moist heat is expected. Exposure to heat up to 475° F for 30 continuous minutes of operation is the recommended maximum temperature and time. Usage beyond those parameters will reduce the life expectancy of the wheel. Glass-filled nylon wheels are not recommended for use in dry heat environments. High temperature casters perform best on smooth floors. Rough use will lower the lifetime of the wheel.
